    Mexican Surcharged Remington Rolling Block Rifle. Unserialized. .50 caliber, 35-inch barrel with three barrel bands, pedestal front sight, ladder-type rear sight and marked at breech: R.M. Rolling block action marked: R.M. Walnut stock and fore-end. Fore-end stamped: 131 at lower end on right side. Stock marked 19 at wrist on right side, M behind lower tang, 38 behind sling mount and 192 at butt. Sling mounts. Condition: Poor. Metal showing a dark age patina and scattered light pitting overall. Fore-end with numerous sliver chips, dents and blemishes. Buttstock with heavy wear, dents and bruises. No cleaning rod present. Action good.
