    Serial no. 24269 [barrels and lower tang], .475 Express caliber, 24-inch barrels with checkered rib, fixed front sight and four-stage folding sight, from 200 yards to 500 yards. Blued finish. Top of barrels marked: W.J. JEFFERY & CO. LTD. / 26. BURY STREET. ST. JAMES LONDON. Elaborately scroll engraved receiver, lever and triggerguard. Each side of receiver inscribed: W.J. JEFFERY & CO. LTD. / LONDON. Dual triggers. Highly figured walnut, pistolgrip stock and splinter fore-end. Sling eyes. Gold-plated oval escutcheon to base of stock. Rubber recoil pad. Length of pull: 14 3/4-inches. Weight: 11-pounds, 8-ounces.
    NOTE: This lot falls under the GCA Act and has Federal Firearms Licensing Requirements.

    Condition: Very good to excellent. Retaining approximately 96-98% finish, with a few scattered scratches and fine patches of pitting. Noticeable scuffs and scratches to stock. Few dings and minor wood loss to right side of fore-end. Action crisp. Bright bores.
