    Cased Merkel Model 141E Petite Frame Side-by-Side Double Rifle.
    Serial no. 552115, 7 x 57 R caliber, 21 1/2-inch barrels with flat matte rib, fixed rear and front sights and integral scope mounts. Blued barrels and coin finished receiver. Receiver finely engraved with game scenes and decorative scrollwork. Greener cross bolt. Single non-selective trigger. Tang safety. Beautifully figured walnut pistol-grip stock with cheek piece, checkered at the wrist and fore-end. Merkel recoil pad. Sling mounts on the underside of the stock and under the barrel. Weighs approximately 7 1/2-pounds. Sold with a Leupold VX-III 1.75-6X32mm scope. This beautiful rifle comes in the factory leather case with green velvet lined compartments. Includes the original owner's manual and inspection certificates.

    Condition: Excellent. A handsome double, well taken care of and with no visible signs of use. Excellent mechanical condition and beautiful bores. The leather case is likewise in excellent condition showing few signs of wear. The Leupold scope's optics are bright and clear.
