    U.S. Springfield 1845 Percussion Musket.
    Unserialized, .69 caliber, 42-inch barrel with fixed front sight. Blued finish. Lock marked: SPRING / FIELD / 1845 and (eagle) / U.S. Smooth hardwood full-stock with three barrel bands and two sling swivels. U.S. marked metal buttplate.

    Condition: Very good as refinished. Retaining approximately 60-70% of a thinning re-finish, with scattered signs of age, wear and patches of pitting. Scuffs, dings and bruises present to wood. Heavy carved marks and some wood loss to left side of stock. Metal ramrod absent. Action good. Dark bore.
