    U.S. Harpers Ferry 1844 Percussion Musket.
    Unserialized, .69 caliber, 41-inch barrel with fixed front sight. Lock marked: HARPERS / FERRY / 1844 and (eagle) / U.S. Smooth hardwood stock with three barrel bands and sling swivels. E.C. FOSTER carved into right side of stock. Leather shoulder sling. Metal buttplate marked: US / B / 79. U.S. marked socket bayonet with leather scabbard.

    Condition: Good. Finish primarily a mottled grey patina, with noticeable age, wear and pitting. Heavy scuffs, dings and bruising to wood. Discoloring and cracking throughout leather. Action good. Pitted bore.
