    U.S. E. Robinson 1864 Percussion Rifle.

    Unserialized, .58 caliber, 39-inch barrel with fixed front sight and rear folding sight. Nickel-plated finish. Lock marked: 1864, (eagle) / U.S. and E. ROBINSON / NEW YORK. Top of barrel stamped 1864 and 2 to upper tang. Smooth walnut straight stock with three barrel bands, two marked with a U. Sling swivels and leather shoulder sling. Metal ramrod and buttplate.

    Condition: Very good to fine. Overall showing scattered signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Scuffs, dings and scratches present to wood. Small crack just in front of lock and minor wood loss to base. Action crisp. Lightly pitted bore.
