    Description

    U.S. Bridesburg 1863 Percussion Musket.
    Unserialized, approximately .58 caliber, 39-inch barrel with fixed front sight and folding rear sight. Lock marked: 1863 and (eagle) / U.S. / BRIDESBURG. Smooth hardwood full-body stock with three barrel bands. Sling swivels and leather shoulder sling. U.S. marked carbine butt. Metal ramrod.

    Condition: Good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with noticeable areas of handling wear and pitting. Heavy scuffs, dings and bruising present to wood. Action good. Lightly pitted bore. Some cracking and discoloring to leather.
