    Twigg London Brass Barrel Flintlock Blunderbuss With Spring Mounted Bayonet.
    1-inch (inside) muzzle diameter, 14 1/3-inch brass barrel, weapon is 30 1/2-inches overall. Top of barrel marked: LONDON; bore with very simple floral motif engraving. Top of muzzle mounted with a pivot for a spring-loaded steel bayonet with a 11-inch triangular blade. Tang has a sliding catch to hold the bayonet in place when folded. Plain iron lock marked: TWIGG. Brass side plate with simple border and floral engraving. Brass trigger guard with acorn finial. Walnut stock with brass buttplate and loading rod ferrules. Oval brass escutcheon inset on the top of the wrist. Wooden ramrod.

    Condition: Very good. A well preserved example showing only modest handling wear. Mechanically sound with an excellent bore.
