    Tower Marked Flintlock Musket with Indian Tacks. NVSN, approximately .75 caliber, 39-inch round barrel with front sight. Breech marked with British proofs. Lockplate marked: Tower behind hammer and crown motif in front of lock. Inspector marks on left side of stock near breech. Tacks are contemporary, not original to the gun. Walnut stock with metal ramrod and brass furniture. Overall length: 55-inches. Condition: Fair to good. Metal showing a mottled gray patina with heavy pitting. Old lacquer residue to lockplate. Wood fair with dents and blemishes. Stress cracks near buttplate and lock. Tacks not removed or tested. Surface rust in protected areas. Old label to buttstock, partially removed. Frizzen loose, Action ok. Bore is dark and pitted.
