Description
Ohio D.C. Percussion Rifle.Unserialized, approximately .60 caliber, 31-inch barrel with fixed front sight, adjustable rear ladder sight and bayonet lug numbered: 4709. D (anchor) C to lock, hammer and top of wrist. Smooth hardwood stock with sling swivels. OHIO stamped to top of stock, just below a brass eagle crest. Metal ramrod. Brass triggerguard and buttplate.
Condition: Good. Finish primarily a dark grey patina with noticeable signs of age, handling wear and pitting. Heavy scuffs, dings and bruising present to wood. Action good. Moderately pitted bore.
