Description
Middle Eastern Flintlock Musket.Approximately .64 caliber, 46 3/4-inch round barrel with flared muzzle. Lock marked with standing lion. Crudely engraved brass back plate. Upswept hardwood stock with 25 brass barrel bands and 2 sling swivels. Hammered brass decoration at wrist. Carved butt with brass teardrop decorations and horn butt plate. Steel ram rod with flared tip.
Condition: Fair to good. Steel with smooth, dark gray age patina turning very dark on breech and action. Cock is frozen. Ram rod will not move. Stock good with nice smooth age wear and light soiling.
