    Mid 19th Century Austrian Fruwith Percussion Saddle Ring Carbine. Unserialized, approximately .74 caliber, 14 1/2-inch round, rifled barrel with blade front sight. Single barrel band. Converted-from-flint percussion lock marked S52. European style S-shaped back lock with integral loop for double saddle ring. Integral triggerguard and lower tang grip. Unmarked flat buttplate. Hardwood stock with cheekrest. Condition: Very good as converted. Steel a cleaned, smooth gray with fine pitting. Excellent fit to wood. Stock: Good to very good with numerous dents, moderate age wear and patina. Action functions. From the Michael Yeck Collection.
