    Massive Pier De Lince Marked Swivel Breech Over and Under Barrel Flintlock Pistol.
    Approximately .64 calibers, 12 1/2-inch round two-stage barrels. Lockplate marked PIER DE / LINCE. Sideplate resembles a ancient serpent/dragon in a scroll pattern. Unique over and under barrel configuration built on the swivel breech platform. Triggerguard safety releases barrels and allows for swivel. Scroll-engraving on parts of the steel furniture [lockplate, hammer, frizzen, buttcap and swivel breech]. Lightly figured hardwood stock and forearms. High relief grotesque face on buttcap present. High relief vacant portrait escutcheon. Wooden ramrod present. Overall length is 21-inches.

    Condition: Good as configured. Grey patina overall. Metal heavily cleaned and showing areas of pitting and wear to relief engraving on barrels. Marred screws. Stocks with scattered bruises, blemishes, some losses and repairs [significant to wrist and left forearm]. No flints. Overall gun is a bit loose, but mechanically sound, dark bores. One barrel is has a thinner wall.
