    London Marked Brass Barrel Flintlock Blunderbuss with Folding Bayonet.
    Unserialized, 14 1/2-inch part round/part octagonal brass barrel with flared muzzle and molded median band. Approximately 1 1/4-inch bore. Top of flat marked: LONDON. Sliding safety. Spring-loaded hinged bayonet with upper tang-mounted release, swivel block. One-piece walnut stock with square pattern checkered wrist, lightly engraved brass furniture on triggerguard and buttplate. Hardwood ramrod missing tip.

    Condition: Fair. Heavy metal wear and deep pitting on lockplate, bayonet release and triangular bayonet. Brass barrel with a dull but smooth patina with age wear. Scattered pitting overall. Stock with bumps, bruises and small hairline cracks. Marred screws and some replaced. Barrel wedges with heavy wear and pitting. Spring on bayonet is weak. Checkering ok, action needs adjusting, won't hold. Bore dark.
