Description
Harper's Ferry 1818 Flintlock Half-Stock Rifle.Unserialized, approximately .64 caliber, 35-inch part octagonal and round barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Lock marked: HARPERS / FERRY / 1818. Smooth walnut half-stock with brass hinged patchbox to right side. Brass triggerguard and buttplate. Brass escutcheon at cheekrest with the initials JRS. Illegible lettering to top of wrist. JR stamped to stock above patchbox.
Condition: Good. Finish primarily a dark grey patina with scattered wear and pitting. Minor dings to wood. Action good.
