    Full-Stock Tiger Maple Flintlock Rifle by Contemporary Master Maker Art Holly. Unserialized, approximately .45 caliber, 42 1/2-inch octagonal barrel with engraved, dovetailed German silver blade front and engraved open rear sights. Browned barrel with engraved muzzle with gold band inlay. Top of barrel with engraved and inlayed silver panel marked: A HOLLY. Fine engraved breech and upper tang with gold bands. Deeply engraved hammer and lock with gold accents and marked: W.G.SUTTER/RUFFSDALE,PA. Tiger maple full stock with engraved brass cap. Both sides of stock along the barrel adorned with arrow motif silver inlays with floral engraved escutcheons. Right side of carved buttstock with brass and German silver ovals and crescents. Ornate and pierced brass patchbox with beautiful floral engraving. Left side of buttstock relief carved and with cheek piece surmounted with Federal eagle in the style of Golden Age flintlock rifles. Brass-tipped hickory ramrod retained by engraved brass thimbles. Set trigger. Condition: Fine to excellent. Minor handling wear. Excellent action.
