Description
French Charleville Flintlock Musket. Unserialized, .69 caliber, 42 ½-inch round barrel. Finished in the white. Lock marked ST. ETIENNE. Walnut stock with three barrel bands, two sling swivels, ramrod, and metal buttplate. Unknown cartouche right side of butt.Condition. Very good. Bright metal finish with scattered dark spots and light pitting. Stock with light handling wear and a small area of loss near the barrel tang. Mechanically sound.
