    E.S. Clark Half-Stock Percussion Rifle.

    Unserialized, approximately .50 caliber, 33 1/2-inch heavy octagonal barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Top of barrel marked: IL_BERSTR BUFFALO / 1834. Lock marked: E.S. CLARK / WARRANTED. Smooth walnut straight stock. Pewter forearm cap. Brass triggerguard, hinged patchbox and crescent buttplate. Blank oval escutcheon to top of wrist. Wood ramrod.

    Condition: Good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with noticeable areas of age, handling wear and pitting. Scattered dings, scratches and scuffs present to wood. Decorative inlaid brass starburst absent to left side of stock. Action needs adjustment. Pitted bore.
