    English Flintlock Brass-Barreled Blunderbuss by T. Bolton & Co. London. 1 ½-inch bore. 16 ½-inch two-stage brass barrel with cannon muzzle, molded bands and octagonal breech, the top flat marked: T. Bolton & Co. London. Scroll-engraved flintlock mechanism with ship's prow pan and roller frizzen. Scroll-engraved steel tang and engraved screws. Varnished walnut stock with vacant vertical rectangular wrist escutcheon, finely checkered wrist panels, German silver oval barrel wedge escutcheons. Brass furniture with engraved scrolling triggerguard, molded thimbles and engraved buttplate. Varnished cherrywood ramrod with flared brass tip. Condition: Very good. Brass barrel and furniture remain fairly bright with a slightly olive age tone. Wood very good with a few scattered dents and bruises. Action excellent.
