Description
C. Siebert Half-Stock Percussion Rifle.Unserialized, .36 caliber, 32-inch heavy octagonal barrel with blank sights. Blued finish. Top of barrel marked: C. SIEBERT COLUMBUS O. Smooth hardwood half-stock. Crescent metal buttplate. Wooden ramrod.
Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a dark grey patina with scattered signs of age, handling wear and pitting. Upper tang screw absent, tang also cracked. Heavy scuffs, dings and bruising to wood. Large crack to right side of stock at forearm, as well as large crack to left side at wrist. Action needs adjustment. Moderately pitted bore.
