    C. 1855 Full Stock Blair County Pennsylvania Rifle by Andrew Baker. Rifle is in overall very fine untouched condition with nice untouched patina on all surfaces. 43 1/4" full octagonal .50 caliber rifled barrel signed on the top flat A. Baker. Very nicely figured curly maple stock with rich patina. There is a 1/2" hairline from the trigger guard to the lock and a very nicely done replaced 1'" wood sliver behind the hammer. Double set triggers, mechanically fine. Very elaborate 8" long 4 piece patchbox with five piercings and beautifully engraved lid. 3 1/2" toe plate. Lock marked "Geor Goulcher" and decorated with scroll work and birds. The moulded cheekpiece features a 1 1/8" X 2" silver inlay decorated with a wonderful engraved primitive eagle. Retains the original brass tipped ramrod.
A very pretty rifle in really wonderful condition.
