    C. 1820 Full Stock Lehigh County/Allentown Pennsylvania Full Stock Rifle. 43 1/2" .41 caliber full octagonal smoothbore barrel with very nice smooth dark patina and sharp edges. The gun appears to be in original flintlock configuration. Brass front sight on dovetailed base with V notch rear sight. Lock, engraved with scrolls and dog marked Josh Golcher. Classic Lehigh County brass furniture about perfect with typical Allentown/Moll associated two piece patchbox nicely engraved with spring release button on butt plate. 2" oval, engraved brass inlay on cheek piece and silver crescent moons inlaid on both sides of the wrist. Nicely decorated toe plate. Maple stock, with classic Lehigh County architecture retains the original finish with very nice patina. There are a few small, very minor, hairlines forward of the lock, else about perfect. Although unsigned, the rifle is clearly a product of the Allentown, Pa. area, and doubtless produced by a maker associated with the Moll family. Fine rifle from this very desirable school.
