    Description

    British Percussion Blunderbuss by Isaac Hollis & Sons. 1 1/2-inch diameter bore, 17 1/2-inch barrel with flared muzzle. Lockplate marked: ISAAC HOLLIS & SONS front of hammer and MAKERS TO HER MAJESTY / WAR DEPARTMENT back of hammer. Regiment markings to left of barrel near breech. Wood stock with cheekpiece. Brass triggerguard and buttplate. Metal ramrod. A great example with Her Majesty's mark.

    Condition: Good. Showing a gray dark patina with scattered pitting and surface rust. Stock with moderate to heavy wear present with mars and dings. Moderate crack to the wrist with an amateur repair, some loses to wood. Brass triggerguard with stress crack over screw. Marred screws. Action good. Bore dark.
