    Description

    19th Century Youth Percussion Rifle.
    Unserialized, approximately .50 caliber, 9-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Plain, unmarked iron lock. Brass buttplate, ornate side plate, trigger guard and loading rod ferrules. Walnut stock with cheek piece, ornately carved around the breech, butt and fore-end. Metal loading rod. Sling loop mounted to the fore-end and sling button on the underside of the butt.

    Condition: Good. Metal with a brown patina. Stock repaired with a new section from just forward of the lock. Small chip above the lock. Mechanically sound.
