    19th Century Turkish Flintlock Blunderbuss Pistol / Carbine
    Measuring 17-inches overall with a 7 7/8-inch barrel, flaring to 2-inches at the muzzle, profusely decorated with silver overlay and heavy chiseling and brass wire band. Scroll engraved hammer, lock and sideplate, cast brass fittings. Carved stock heavily inlayed with mother of pearl decorative elements, carved bone ram rod. Side plate incorporates an iron bar / ring mount. Note: This style of firearm is referred to as a "Knee Pistol", referring to the way the pistol is fired, pressed against the knee.

    Condition: Very good to fine. Slight age wear and patina throughout. Lockplate and barrel cleaned at some point. Stock is fine with minor wear and patina.
