    Lot of Two U.S. Percussion Muskets.
    Comprising: 1.) U.S. Springfield Percussion Rifle. Unserialized, .69 caliber, 33-inch barrel with fixed front sight. Lock marked: SPRING / FIELD / 1845 and (eagle) / U.S. Smooth hardwood half-stock. Wood ramrod. U.S. marked metal butt. 2.) U.S. 1823 Percussion Musket. Unserialized, .69 caliber, 41-inch barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Lock marked: 1823 and faint EVANS / VAL stamp. Checkered hardwood half-stock. Sling swivel. Wood ramrod. Metal butt.

    Condition: Good. Finishes primarily dark grey patinas, with noticeable age, handling wear and pitting. Scattered scuffs, dings and bruising to wood. 2.) 22-2-15 engraved inside of triggerguard and some wood loss near hammer. Actions good. Dark bores.
