    Lot of Two Matchlock Rifles.

    Comprising: 1.) Unserialized, approximately .60 caliber, 38-inch barrel with fixed front sight and fixed grooved-block rear sight. Converted to percussion action. Smooth hardwood stock with decorative brass floral inlays. 25 coin to base of stock. 2.) Unserialized, .52 caliber, 37-inch barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Smooth hardwood stock with decorative floral inlays. Original brass museum inventory tag attached: J.M. DAVIS / 9103 and 9137 (no tag, in white) / MEMORIAL.
    Sold to Benefit The JM Davis Collection at the JM Davis Arms and Historical Museum, Part II.

    Condition: Very good. Finishes overall are a dark grey patina with heavy signs of age, handling wear and areas of pitting. Scattered scuffs, dings and bruising present to wood. 1.) Screws absent to lock. Ramrods absent. 1.) Action functions, but loose. 2.) Action absent. Dark bores.
