Description
Winchester Third Model 1873 Saddle Ring Lever Action Carbine. Serial no. 395897, .44-40 caliber, 20-inch barrel with German silver pedestal front sight and dovetailed open rear sight. Saddle ring. Walnut stock and fore-end. Carbine butt. Cleaning rod reservoir in butt, containing sectional cleaning rod.Condition: Fair. Metal with mottled grey-brown patina with scattered light pitting and wear overall. Marred screws. Replacement saddle ring and lever . Wood with heavy wear, dents and bruises. Action good.
