    Description

    Winchester Third Model 1873 Lever Action Saddle Ring Carbine. Serial no. 413639B, .44 W.C.F. caliber, 20-inch round barrel with standard front sight and rear ladder sight. Blued finish. Saddle ring. Walnut stock and fore-end. Carbine butt. Manufactured in 1891.
    Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 35-45% original blue on barrel and magazine tube with the balance a mottled blue-brown patina and some scattered staining. Receiver with a smooth, very thin yellow-gray patina. Stocks are very good and possibly replacements. Forearm appears to have been sanded. Buttstock is proud to the frame. Action is tight. Bore is good.
