Description
Winchester Third Model 1873 Lever Action Rifle.Serial no. 514814B, .38 W.C.F. caliber, 24-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight and rear elevation sight. Blued finish. Dust cover. Smooth walnut straight stock and fore-end. Crescent metal buttplate with cleaning rod reservoir. Four piece cleaning rod. Manufactured in 1898.
Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 60-70% of a thinning finish with scattered handling wear and patches of pitting. Scuffs and dings present to wood. Action crisp. Strong bore.
