    Winchester Third Model 1873 Lever Action Rifle. Serial no. 315239B, .32 W.C.F. caliber, 24-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight and buckhorn rear elevation sight. Blued finish. Smooth walnut straight stock and fore-end. Crescent metal buttplate. Manufactured in 1889. Property from the Estate of John R. Eckel, Sr.

    Condition: Very good. Retaining traces of finish in protected areas, the balance a plum brown age patina with noticeable wear and pitting. Wood showing scuffs, dings and gouges. Noticeable scuffs, one to left side of fore-end at receiver and another at top of stock. Action good. Moderately pitted bore.
