    Description

    Winchester Second Model 1873 Lever Action Rifle. Serial no. 331312B, .38 W.C.F. caliber, 24-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front blade sight and rear elevation sight. Blued finish. Varnished walnut stock and fore-end. Crescent butt with cleaning rod reservoir. Four piece cleaning rod. Manufactured in 1890. From the estate of Houston collector Brent Burg.
    Condition: Very good. Retaining traces of original finish, the balance a grey patina worn thin at relief edges, scattered wear and pitting. Wood showing wear, dents and bruises. Pitting to buttplate and cleaning rod. Action is tight. Bright bore.
