    Winchester Model 1895 Saddle Ring Carbine. Serial no. 89029, .30-40 Army caliber, 22-inch barrel with standard military sights. Left side of barrel at barrel band marked ODIN ALEX VA. Blued finish. Saddle ring present. Walnut stock with military style top handguard. Curved steel buttplate. Condition: Fair to good. Barrel retaining approximately 10-15% blue, primarily in protected areas, the balance a thin, mottled gray-blue patina with scattered patches of fine staining and pitting. Receiver mostly now bare metal with areas of gray-brown patina and fine pitting. Stock fair to good with moderate soiling and handling wear. Old repairs at wrist. Initials have been carved in right side of buttstock and showing signs of having been lightly sanded. Bore is good with light to moderate wear. From the Michael Yeck Collection.
