    Description

    Winchester Model 1895 Lever Action Carbine.
    Serial no. 108286B, 30 Army caliber, 22-inch round barrel with military rear sight and fixed front sight. Blued barrel; casehardened receiver, hammer and lever. Saddle ring mount on left side of receiver; lacking ring. Walnut stock and fore-end. This example lacking upper handguard though they could be ordered without them. Curved steel buttplate with trap for cleaning tools. Manufactured 1898.

    Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 85% blue, worn thin near the muzzle. Casehardened parts with a mottled brown patina. Light scratches to stock with a few small chips and shallow gouges on the right side of the wrist. Excellent mechanical condition with a bright bore.
