Description

Winchester Model 1894 Saddle Ring Carbine.
Serial no. 832811, .30 W.C.F. caliber, 20-inch barrel with fixed front sight and folding rear sight. Blued finish. Saddle ring. Smooth walnut straight stock and fore-end. Metal carbine butt. Manufactured in 1918.
Provenance: John Bell, noted Hawaiian historian.

Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 10-20% finish, mainly in protected areas. The balance a mottled grey patina with noticeable wear and pitting. Scattered scuffs, scratches and dings to wood. Nine notches to left side of fore-end. Action good. Moderately pitted bore.
