    Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action Rifle.
    Serial no. 283692, .25-35 WCF, 26-inch octagonal barrel with front and rear sight. Blued finish with walnut stocks. Upper tang marked MODEL 1894 / WINCHESTER. P over W in oval on top of barrel and receiver. Crescent buttplate. Manufactured 1903.

    Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 15-20% blued finish with remainder thinning on cleaned barrel. Frame, buttplate, lever and magazine have a gray patina/finish with light pitting. Old lacquer residue present to gun in protected areas. Some light dents to magazine tube. Magazine stopper with aftermarket catch. Stocks in fair condition with reapplied varnish to fore-end. Marred and replaced screws. Buttstock cleaned with slight loss to heel, stocks with numerous dings, mars and bruises. Action ok, (a little loose). Bore needs cleaning.
