Winchester Model 1894 L.A.P.D. Saddle Ring Carbine.
Serial no. 808122, .30 W.C.F. caliber, 20-inch barrel with fixed front sight and adjustable rear ladder sight. Blued finish. Saddle ring. Right side of receiver stamped: L.A.P.D. Smooth walnut straight stock and fore-end. Carbine metal buttplate. Manufactured in 1917.

Condition: Very good as partially refinished. Retaining approximately 90-94% finish to barrel with handling wear and fine pitting. Receiver finish is bare metal. Poorly re-varnished wood, with heavy signs of varnish to metal. Scattered scuffs and dings to stocks. minor wood loss to left side at wrist. Long scratch to right side of stock. Action crisp. Strong bore.
