    Winchester Model 1894 Deluxe Lever Action Rifle.
    Serial no. 85607, .30 WCF, 26-inch half round half octagonal barrel with front sight. Blued finish with case-hardened hammer and lever. Deluxe features include checkered pistolgrip stock, 1/2 rd, 1/2 octagonal barrel, button mag and shotgun buttplate. Manufactured in 1897. Cody Firearms Records Office search letter confirms shipping as a Rifle, 30 caliber, 1/2 Octagon, Plain trigger, Plain Pistol-grip, 1/2 magazine, Shotgun Butt, Checkered, Rubber Plate.

    Condition: Fine as partially cleaned and configured. Retaining approximately 75-80% blued finish on barrel and frame with losses to bottom of frame and fore-end cap. 40-50% case-hardening on hammer and lever. Stocks worn but checkering is visible and all there. Dents and mars to stocks throughout. Light patches of mold to metal and wood from storage, should clean. Action good. Bore good.
