Description
Winchester Model 1892 "Trapper" Style Saddle Ring Carbine. Serial no. 822381, .44-40 caliber, 17 3/4-inch barrel with pedestal front sight and ladder type rear sight. Blued finish. Argentine railroad brand on side of frame. Saddle ring. Varnished walnut stock and fore-end. Sling mounts.Condition: Good as refinished and reconfigured. Retaining approximately 90-95% reblued finish with scattered light wear and flaking on barrel. Barrel shortened and muzzle appears uncrowned. Wood sanded and refinished. Action good.
