Description
Winchester Model 1892 Takedown Lever Action Rifle. Serial no. 984288, .25-20 caliber, 24-inch round barrel with blade front and buckhorn-style rear sights. Blued finish. Takedown action. Walnut stocks. Condition: Good. Barrel retains approximately 80-85% blue but with scattered patches of pitting and scratches from heavy use. Receiver with numerous fine scratches, finish fading to gray. Stock showing a nice re-varnish over old handling marks. Buttplate with patches of fine pitting. Bright strong bore.
