Description
Winchester Model 1892 Take Down Lever Action Rifle. Serial no. 489269, .25-20 W.C.F. caliber, 24-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight and rear elevation sight. Blued finish. Take down lever. Varnished walnut stock and fore-end. Crescent butt with cleaning rod reservoir. No cleaning rod present. Manufactured in 1909.Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 60-70% finish with thinning to receiver and relief edges. Scattered wear and scratches. Wood showing light scuffs and bruises. Buttplate a grey age patina. Action crisp. Moderately pitted bore.
