Winchester Model 1892 Saddle Ring Carbine.
Serial no. 695522, 44 WCF, 20-inch round barrel with front and rear sight. Blued finish with walnut stocks. Two barrel bands. Upper tang marked MODEL 1892 / WINCHESTER. P over W in oval on top of barrel and receiver. Rare and desirable 44-40 configuration. Manufactured in 1913.

Condition: Very good as configured. Retaining approximately 70-75% bluing to barrel. Frame, buttplate and lever with a plum brown patina with some areas of pitting. Stocks appear to have been revarnished at some point. Some loses to finish on fore-end and buttstock. Dings, mars and bruising to wood, crack/repair on wood finish near upper tang of buttplate. Saddle ring present. Finish loses to barrel bands. Marred screws. Light mold residue present from poor storage. Action good. Bore good.
