Description
Winchester Model 1892 Lever Action Saddle Ring Carbine. Serial no. 166297, .44 W.C.F. caliber, 20-inch round barrel with fixed front sight and rear ladder sight. Blued finish. Saddle ring. Varnished walnut stock and fore-end. Carbine butt. Manufactured in 1899. From the estate of Houston collector Brent Burg.Condition: Good. Retaining traces of original finish, the balance primarily a grey age patina with scattered wear and pitting. Wood showing bruising, dents and scuffs. Pitting to buttplate. Action is good. Bore is good.
