Description
Winchester Model 1892 Lever Action Saddle Ring Carbine. Serial no. 314869, .44 W.C.F. caliber, 14-inch round barrel with front brass blade and rear elevator sights. Blued finish. Saddle ring. Varnished walnut stock and fore-end. Carbine butt. Manufactured in 1905. The barrel length is as shipped from the manufacturer and was confirmed that the length is correct by Cody Firearms Museum.Condition: Good as refinished. Retaining approximately 65-70% of dull refinish, wear to the relief edges. Wood with scattered wear, dents and bruises. Noticeable dent to left side of stock, and some wood loss around base of stock. Pitting to buttplate. Action is good. Bore is good, with moderate pitting.
