    Description

    Winchester Model 1892 Lever Action Saddle Ring Carbine. Serial no. 451400, .44 W.C.F. caliber, 20-inch round barrel with standard front sight and rear ladder sight. Blued finish. Saddle ring. Walnut stock and over-sized fore-end. Carbine butt with cleaning rod reservoir. No cleaning rod present. Manufactured in 1907.
    Condition: Good as refinished. Retaining approximately 85-90% of a re-blued finish. Pitting visible beneath the blue. Stock good as re-varnished and a possible replacement. Barrel band screw absent. Ill-fitting at upper tang. Hole for missing rear sling swivel. Bore good showing wear and fine pitting.
