    Description

    Winchester Model 1892 Lever Action Rifle.
    Serial no. 595743, .30 caliber, 22-inch barrel with fixed front sight and rear buckhorn elevation sight. Blued finish. Half magazine. Smooth walnut straight stock and fore-end with grasping grooves. Crescent metal buttplate. Manufactured in 1911. Property from the Estate of John R. Eckel, Sr.

    Condition: Good. Finish primarily a plum brown patina with noticeable wear and pitting. Barrel is a Springfield Armory, dated 6-18. Front sight blade absent. Wood showing scuffs, dings and bruises. Multiple scattered cracks present, along with some wood loss along edges. Action crisp. Lightly pitted bore.
