    Description

    Winchester Model 1892 Lever Action Rifle. Serial no. 89987, .25-20 W.C.F. caliber, 24-inch round barrel with standard front sight and rear elevation sight. Blued finish. Walnut stock and fore-end. Left side of stock stamped MONTANA ARMORY BOZEMAN, M.T. Crescent butt. Manufactured in 1894.
    Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 10-20% original blue finish primarily in protected areas, the balance a smooth, mottled, blue-brown patina. Receiver mostly bare metal with traces of blue on left side. Scattered fine scratches.
    Wood with wear, dents and bruises. Action is good. Bright bore.
