Description
Winchester Model 1892 Lever Action Rifle. Serial no. 230788, .38 W.C.F. caliber, 24-inch octagonal barrel with elongated bead front sight and semi-buckhorn rear sight. Blued finish. Varnished walnut stock and fore-end. Crescent butt. Manufactured in 1903.Condition: Good to very good. Retaining approximately 15-20% finish mixed with brown age patina with scattered light pitting and spotting. Minor dents and scratches. Wood with light wear and marks. Small chip repair to left side of wrist and hairline crack repair pins present on top of comb of buttstock. Action good. Bore pitted, with heavy wear to lands.
