Description
Winchester Model 1886 Lever Action Rifle.Serial no. 19103 [lower tang], .45-90 W.C.F. caliber, 26-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight and rear elevation sight. Case-hardened hammer and lever. Smooth walnut straight stock and fore-end. Crescent metal buttplate. Manufactured in 1888.
Estate of Kenneth Alan Hill, Sr., Fort Worth, Texas.
Condition: Good. Finish primarily a bright grey patina with noticeable signs of handling wear, age and patches of pitting. Scattered scuffs, dings and bruising present to wood. Action crisp. Strong bore.
