    Description

    Winchester Model 1886 Lever Action Rifle. Serial no. 153319, .45-70 W.C.F. caliber, 26-inch octagonal barrel with Rocky Mountain front sight and sporting rear sight. Blued barrel. Case-hardened receiver, lever, hammer and crescent buttplate. Checkered walnut pistolgrip stock and fore-end. Manufactured in 1913.
    Condition: Very good as configured. Barrel is excellent, retaining approximately 90-95% deep blue finish with some fine scratches. Address and caliber markings mostly sharp. Rear sight appears to have been refinished. Fine pitting visible beneath blue on bolt. Rear tang appears to have been cleaned. Upper tang screw with tool marks. Wood with wear, dents and bruises. Action is tight. Bright bore.
